2026/27 Fundraising Policy
The Elkford Skating Club is a non-profit organization. Fundraising helps cover the costs of ice rentals, coaching, Skate Canada fees, equipment and other club expenses while keeping registration fees affordable.
Fundraising Fee
Each family is required to pay one fundraising fee per season, regardless of the number of skaters registered:
-
Full-season registration: $400 per family
-
Half-season/part-time registration: $200 per family
The fundraising fee is due upfront at the time of registration or on the date specified on your invoice if you choose installments. Please note tickets will not be handed out until your installments have been paid.
Recovering Your Fundraising Fee
Families can recover their fundraising fee by selling Winter in the Wild Ball Drop tickets:
-
Tickets are $10 each
-
$400 fee = 40 tickets (4 books)
-
$200 fee = 20 tickets (2 books)
Tickets will be distributed as soon as they are available. Additional fundraising opportunities may also be offered throughout the season.
Family Agreement
By registering with the Elkford Skating Club, I understand and agree that:
-
I am required to pay the applicable fundraising fee at the time of registration.
-
I can recover this fee through approved fundraising activities, including Ball Drop ticket sales.
-
I am entering into a financial agreement with the Elkford Skating Club and am responsible for ensuring my family's fundraising fee is paid.
-
If the fundraising requirement is not met and the required funds are not received by the club, my account will be considered in arrears.
-
Accounts in arrears may result in the skater(s) being not in good standing with the Elkford Skating Club/Skate Canada, where applicable.
-
Further registration may be denied until all outstanding amounts are paid to the club.
Questions regarding fundraising or payment can be directed to elkfordskatingclub@gmail.com.
