Withdrawal / Refund Policy

Elkford Skating Club in a non-profit organization that relies upon registration fees and extensive fundraising to pay for ice rental and professional skating coaches.  We maintain a low-fee structure to ensure accessibility to all families in our community.  Our low registration fees mean that we cannot offer refunds beyond a two-week window into each of our classes.  Transparency and good communication are key to our relationship with families.  Please read and agree to the following:

I understand that the Skate Canada membership fee ($58.65 per skater) paid at the time of registration is non-refundable.

I understand that the $25 administration fee paid at the time of registration is non-refundable (does not apply to Parent and Tot).

I understand that my skater (excluding Parent and Tot participants) may attend any class for two weeks at the start of their classes and have their registration fees refunded to them if they do not choose to continue with classes.  The Skate Canada membership fee and administration fee will not be refunded. Pre-CanSkate and CanSkate participants enjoy a two-week withdrawal period in the Fall and Winter.  Primary, Intermediate, Junior and Senior skaters will have their two-week withdrawal period in the Fall or upon commencement of their full-season classes.  Parent and Tot program registration fees cannot be returned in case of withdrawal, since the bulk of these registration fees are made up of the Skate Canada Membership Fees for both participants.
